  Delivery

Delivery timetable

All orders are processed and prepared on a Monday and dispatched on a Tuesday for expected delivery next day where possible.

Note : all orders received between Tuesday and Sunday will be processed on the following Monday and Dispatched on the Tuesday.

We do try to process orders on Tuesdays and Wednesdays if the Restaurant is not too busy, but our guarantee is that all orders will be processed the Monday following the order.

Should you wish for an order to be processed as soon as possible, please call 01273729051 or email before ordering to ensure it is possible.

You can also order days or weeks in advance by letting us know when you want it delivered at time of purchase

All orders are delivered by courier to ensure safe arrival. During busy periods, delivery can take up to 3 days from the dispatch day. When the order is processed a confirmation email will be sent indicating it is ready for dispatch. However, please do call us if your parcel is late (over 10 days from ordering) and we will notify the courier.

These charges relate to UK mainland only – for carriage charges to the Highlands, UK offshore, Ireland or Overseas please contact us for specific weight dependant charges via email/or phone (link)

Delivery charges are for orders up to 10kg

The Cookbook includes UK postage ( not islands or highlands) and will be sent by courier. For all orders outside of the uk and in the highlands there will be an extra charge.

Vouchers

Gift vouchers to any destination will be posted free of charge

Packaging

All goods will be wrapped and boxed with extra care to ensure the safe arrival of your order.

Helpful Delivery Information

In order to ensure that your order arrives on time the following information would be appreciated. Please fill out the relevant sections in the order form.

  • Post Code
    An accurate postcode is vital.
  • A house number
    Please use a house number and not just a house name. If a house does not have a number then please give some additional information to help the courier to identify the property: e.g. the house is next to the village hall , has big red gates
  • Details of how to find a house
    Please give brief details of how to find the house. There is no need to describe how to get to your town or village, just simple directions from the nearest landmark will be sufficient.

If no-one is available to take receipt, the courier will endeavour to leave your parcel with a neighbour or in a place specified by you. You can give details of a convenient place in the prompted box when you checkout.

We strongly recommend that you supply details of a convenient location if you are not able to take receipt yourself as this will avoid the food being in transit for longer than necessary.

Incorrect or inadequate delivery information

If an incorrect postcode or address is supplied, we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of your parcel. You will be charged for the contents of your order and the delivery charge.

If your delivery address is hard to find, e.g. in a remote rural area or wooded area, if you do not provide additional information to help the courier locate you, we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of your parcel. You will be charged for the contents of your order and the delivery charge.
