Afternoon Tea Menu - Traditional Terre a Terre Style! (3pm - 4:30pm daily)

Please note our multi tiered afternoon tea can take up to 30 minutes to prepare for you! - it is worth the wait !
We no longer offer small plates of afternoon tea items however we serve the full pudding list all day should you wish to order from that. 

Terre à Tier Tea - 24.00 per person

One savoury plate served first, followed by three tiers of sweet delights with a choice of tea or coffee pot!

Savoury Tier:
Tapioca seaweed cracker with pickled vegetables.

Steamed rice bun stuffed with Szechuan marinated halloumi, with kimchi Chinese cabbage,
lapsang souchong pickled watermelon and cucumber, a miso chilli sauce and spring onion garnish.

Our warm homemade mini muffins served with peppered Sussex slipcote cream cheese and pear perry chutney.

Sweet Tier 1:
Orange & almond polenta cake served with blood orange sorbet and pomegranate molasses, pink peppered meringue, toasted coconut and baby sorrel

Sweet Tier 2:
Chocolate hazelnut truffle cake and praline served with a whipped dark chocolate mousse.

Crème de cacao Brandy Alexander shake, Salt caramel peanut truffle.

Traditional Tier:
Tea soaked sultana scones served with peppered strawberry jam and clotted cream.

Vegan Terre à Tier Tea  - 24.00 per person

Idli rice and channa sponge, fried and rolled in black salt chaat mix, served with tamatar dal butter, podi powder and tamarind juice with fresh turmeric coconut lime custard. 

Deep fried corn cakes rolled in spice dust served with chilli chelly jelly, avocado hash,oregano and lime mojo and a candied chilli.
