Vintage Champagne  Extra  Brut AOC - Fleury, France, 1995  (v & biodynamic)  52.50 
90%%   Pinot Nior 10% chardonnay
This no-dosage Champagne lives up to its Extra Brut label, beautifully crisp and dry with lively citrus peel and ripe yellow apple  flavours  with a very long finish. This is definitely for those who like it very dry, not a champagne for the faint-hearted.

Not your usual Soave, oak aged, very rich. Flavours of ripe apricots and toasted pannetone but very balanced.

St-Joseph Blanc - Les Granits, M.Chapoutier , N. Rhone France ‘06  (v & biodynamic)   45.00
Old  Marsanne vines from very steep granite slopes .. Golden yellow in colour with  touches of honeysuckle and lily on the nose. A well balanced, very harmonious wine with hints of spice developing into mellowed honey. With low acidity it’s all about the texture.  
Food pairing: Olives, Chestnut mince pie, Jerusalem,  Rosti revisited.

AOC  Morgon- Cru Beaujolais ‘Les Charmes’ Chasselay, France ‘ 09  (v)   31.25
Top of the range barrel aged Gamay, with deep black cherry and raspberry flavours.
Made by new wave winemakers from an excellent vintage. 

Coudelet de Beaucastell - Côtes de Rhône, Perrin, Ch. de Beaucastell France, ‘07 (v)  38.50
Herbal hedgerow fruits with silky tannins, sexy aromas of black raspberry, crème de cassis and liquorice.
 “The best Coudoulet ever made”  Mourvèdre, Grenache, Syrah and 80- year-old Cinsault. Ripe and long.

Predominantly Merlot, smidgeon of Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich without heaviness.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon,Merlot, Carmenère, Syrah and Mourvèdre Great depth and breadth of flavour, with blackberry and dark cherry fruit aromas, a powerful wine but with the freshness to balance
